The institute provide research consultancy to various research institutions and government agencies. The institute works in non-profit motive and only charges the expenses incurred for the activities. The institute has an efficient project cell which facilitates the research faculties in their research consultancies. The cell helps the researchers to organise field work, data processing, organising seminars and workshops, and publishing. The project cell hires both technical and non-technical experts on requirement.
